- The only information we may share publicly, with your consent, is the name of your institution and the testimonial.
- If you choose not to share either publicly, we will be unable to post your story but will still include it in our data collection to advocate for systemic changes.
- All shared testimonials will be verified and/or verifiable to ensure accuracy.
- Evidence and Supporting Materials
- If you have evidence of the incident (e.g., emails, screenshots, or photos), we encourage you to share it as it helps us validate and advocate more effectively. However, sharing evidence is optional.
- Data Handling and Storage
- All data provided will be securely stored and handled only by the Hindu on Campus team. It will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
- We recommend that you refrain from including any information that could personally identify you to unintended audiences.
- Consent
- You must provide explicit consent to allow us to post your testimonial publicly.
- If you do not consent, your information will only be used internally to track and report Hinduphobia in aggregate data.
- Communication
- We recommend providing your email address so we can reach out for clarification or additional details if needed. This ensures your testimonial is posted with accuracy and comfort.
- Harassment and Doxxing Prevention
- Any incidents of doxxing or harassment will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
- Posting private or confidential information of others is a violation of the Terms of Use on many social media platforms and may result in legal penalties depending on the location and scenario.
